Lately, the word on the street is that newly open restaurant, Isalita, is BOMB. And because of that, it seems like their wait is always long (I have heard rumors of waits up towards 3 hours long. WOAH. Just WOAH.). Lucky for us, we thought ahead and went on Super Bowl Sunday. If there is one thing that always holds true, people don’t do anything fun on Super Bowl Sunday (hmm…I might be biased because I have spent the last 19 years successfully avoiding watching the Super Bowl and their silly advertisements). We basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was awesome. We ordered truffle guacamole, pico de gallo, bajo fish tacos, pollo feliz and sweet plantains. Can you say YUMMMM?! I will spear you the pictures of the food, I don’t want you to be too jealous *wink* HA.

I LOVE YOU, Isalita. We will be back soon!

I’m STILL trying to get in there. Tried 3x and the waits were over an hour…
I would keep trying! I am not one to wait for a table at a restaurant, but I would (maybe) wait up to 45 mins for a table at Isalita. It is THAT good.
Good call on visiting on Super Bowl Sunday. Your meal sounds great. I too loved my first experience dining at Isalita.
I haven’t talked to anybody who didn’t enjoy dinning at Isalita! Did you try anything that I didn’t while you were there that you suggest?
